REFUND POLICY
ACCEPTING GOODS.
We recommend you immediately inspect any goods to insure you are completely satisfied with the quality and the goods match the description provided to you.
If your purchase is delivered damaged please contact the transport company immediately. West Australian Automotive Equipment does not insure goods in transit.
CHANGE OF MIND.
If you change your mind after purchasing a product, we may offer an exchange, credit or refund provided that:
- The items are retuned within 14 days of purchase.
- The item is returned in a saleable condition with the item being unused or unworn and that it is in the original packaging complete with all manuals and accessories.
- A valid original invoice is presented.
PRODUCT ACCEPTABLITY.
You may be entitled to a refund if.
- The product is faulty or is not acceptable quality.
- The product is not fit for its intended purpose.
- The product does not match its sample or description.
West Australian Automotive Equipment staff reserve the right to assess the item to determine whether a refund, repair or replacement can be offered in accordance with the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
Please note: Any delivery and or transport costs are non-refundable for returns.
EXCHANGE.
- The exchange items must be returned within 14 days of purchase.

WARRANTY CLAIMS.
If a product supplied to you fails under manufactures warranty you can lodge a claim with West Australian Automotive Equipment, or the original component manufacture provided.
- You have an original invoice or proof of purchase.
- The product has not been misused, adjusted, modified or serviced by an unauthorised person or persons.
- All costs of return postage, transport, travelling expenses and insurance are paid by the customer.
Please note: All goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
WARRANTY EXCLUSION:
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Automotive Equipment has no liability to provide warranty services to.
- Warranty services outside business hours.
- Equipment, product or any accessory that has been mis-used or abused.
- The equipment or product has not been used in accordance with the instruction manual supplied.
- Any modifications or adjustments made to the product outside the manufacture’s specifications.
- Failures consistent with not having taken reasonable steps to prevent damage or failure.
- Storing the product inconsistent to the instructions provided in the instruction manual.
- Products that have been misused, adjusted, modified or serviced by an unauthorised person or persons.
- Damage caused by contact with sand, rust, corrosion, fire, vermin and insect infestation, power outages or surges or inadequate voltage or current.
SHIPPING COSTS:
If you wish to return an item back to West Australian Automotive Equipment, you are required to pay for all associated fees and charges.
